St George Illawarra Dragons 2025 Men's Indigenous Rugby League Jersey – Red & Black
Celebrate First Nations culture and the rich heritage of the Dharawal community with the St George Illawarra Dragons 2025 Men's Indigenous Rugby League Jersey.
Designed by proud Dharug artist Kane Wright, this distinctive jersey features vibrant red, black and earthy tones combined with detailed Indigenous-inspired artwork. The design brings the Dharawal seasonal calendar to life, celebrating the deep connections between people, animals, the land, waterways and the sky.
At the heart of the artwork are six meeting places, each representing one of the six Dharawal seasons. Handprints acknowledge the guiding presence of ancestors, while footprints honour Elders and the journeys through which cultural knowledge is passed down. Flowing waterways represent the rivers and streams of Dharawal Country.

Design Story – Our Community, Our Land, Our Story
The 2025 Dragons Indigenous Jersey celebrates the Dharawal community and its cultural connection to land, sea and sky.
The artwork features six meeting places representing the six Dharawal seasons: Burruan, Marrai’gang, Burrugin, Wiritjiribin, Ngoonungi and Parra’dowee. Each meeting place is paired with an animal reflecting the spirit of its season.
The design also recognises the important roles of women and men in their communities, including cultural education, nurturing, leadership, protection and the passing on of knowledge.
Handprints honour ancestors, footprints acknowledge the journeys of Elders, and flowing waterways represent the life-giving rivers and streams of Dharawal Country.
