The 2025 Queensland Maroons Indigenous Jersey was designed by Bianca Beetson, a proud Kabi Kabi and Wiradjuri artist and niece of Arthur Beetson.

The design honours Arthur's legacy as one of the most important figures in Queensland rugby league history. Born in Roma, Queensland, Arthur became the first Indigenous Australian to captain an Australian national sporting team. He also captained Queensland in the inaugural State of Origin match in 1980.
